Tiny Drone

ProtoX_Flying[2]Believe it or not, my wife has already started her Christmas shopping!  Actually, being close to October she is later than last year!

Are you looking for a great stocking stuffer that is sure to be a hit?  Check out the Estes 4606 Proto X Nano R/C Quadcopter, otherwise known as the “Tiny Drone”

The “Tiny Drone” is a lot of fun!  It took me a little while to master the controls, but once I did I was flying this quadcopter all around the house and yard.

The tiny drone is the size of a quarter, but this is truly a case of size doesn’t matter.  It features a rechargeable battery that gives you plenty of flying time.  The remote does requires AAA batteries which are not included, however you will get 4 spare rotoblades and USB charging cable.  The extra rotoblades will probably come in handy as you learn to fly.

I’ve had other remote control flying toys that seem to lose the signal with the remote asProto_X_no_lights[2] soon as you start to fly.  This remote is a full 4-channel 2.4 ghz radio transmitter which was easy to learn and kept in contact with the tiny drone where ever I flew it.

It has an MSRP of $39.99 and can be currently purchased on Amazon for $29.99 (Amazon Tiny Drone link).  This is one of those toys that won’t be left on the shelf after a couple of week for sure!
